Harris County Extends Stay Home - Work Safe Order
State of Texas Extends Social Distancing & School Closures
At 3:00 pm on March 31, 2020, Harris County Judge Hidalgo extended the Stay Home – Work Safe order through April 30, 2020. This extension was based upon recommendations from medical health professionals that our efforts to drastically reduce public gatherings and activities remains critically important to reducing the strain on our medical services in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

STATE OF TEXAS
At 2:00 pm on March 31, 2020, Governor Abbott extended State requirements for social distancing through April 30, 2020, closed all Texas schools through May 4, 2020 and identifies essential services.
