WEST U COVID-19 UPDATE – THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR PART
Considering the daily changes in information on COVID-19 you hear on the news, the City Council and staff want to thank you for doing your part to fight this virus by staying home, avoiding groups, maintaining social distancing and practicing good hygiene to help prevent the spread of the virus. Your effort next week in following the Stay Home - Work Safe order and CDC and public health guidelines will go a long way towards flattening the curve.
The City’s dedicated staff are doing their part to maintain normal service levels to those departments unaffected by the closures and cancellations. Although, we have implemented recommended safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our residents and employees, we are committed to still providing that great small town customer service but at a slight distance.
Thank you again for doing your part and the City Council and staff remain committed to doing our part and together we will get through this!
Services Still Operating at Normal Service Levels:
- Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Public Works (code enforcement, animal control, trash collection, water, drainage, sewer and streets)
