[ARCHIVED] **REMINDER**Vegetative Storm Debris Collection tomorrow for affected areas south of University Blvd.

Vegetative Debris Collection Map - April 7 Storm

The City’s contracted debris hauler (Ceres Environmental) will be in the City tomorrow,  Friday April 12, 2019 to collect the vegetative storm related debris placed curbside in the affect areas (see attached map).  SEE MAP HERE

City crews surveyed the area and determined that areas south of University Blvd were the most heavily impacted by the Sunday’s storm, therefore work crews will be focusing their efforts in those areas.

Ceres Environmental will complete one pass of the affect areas noted on the map. Debris will need to be placed curbside no later than 7:00 AM Friday April 12

The City is asking residents:

  • DO NOT place household trash or any other type of non-vegetative debris in the piles.
  • DO NOT park on the street in front of the piles placed curbside.
  • DO NOT place piles next to poles, trees, street lights, fire hydrants, structures or on top of meter boxes that will make removal difficult.

Any material placed out later than Friday April 12 will need to comply with the City yard waste curbside collection guidelines. (

Bulk trash is NOT being collected by Ceres Environmental. Any bulk trash placed curbside needs to comply with the City’s bulk trash collection guidelines (

We thank you for your cooperation in helping the City with this debris collection and getting back to normal. Remember this is only for those areas south of University Blvd.

To report any unsafe trees or branches in the City’s Right-of-Way, please call the Public Works Department at 713-662-5839 or email
