City offices, including the Community Center, will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas. All offices will re-open for business at 7:30 am, Wednesday, December 26. City Offices will also be closed Tuesday, January 1, on New Year’s Day.
The West U Recreation Center, located at 4210 Bellaire Blvd, will be open Monday from 5 am – 1 pm, but will be closed all day Tuesday. City parks will remain open.
There will be no trash, recycle and yard waste collection on Christmas Day. Tuesday’s route will instead be collected on Wednesday. Trash, recycling and yard waste will be collected per normal schedule for Monday, Thursday and Friday routes.
All emergency services will operate as usual.
