PUBLIC MEETING
Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery
Round 1 Funding (Hurricane Harvey)

The City of West University Place, Texas, will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 6 pm, at the West University Place City Hall - Council Chambers, 3800 University Blvd. West University Place, Texas.
The Texas General Land Office has allocated Harris County $76,688,494 towards the Infrastructure “Competitive Pool” of funding available through the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery program (CDBG-DR). The City of West University Place will be submitting a funding proposal to Harris County Community Services for consideration in this Competitive Pool of funds that may assist the City in funding the cost share for drainage infrastructure projects the City is seeking through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for Hurricane Harvey.
The City of West University Place would like to extend an invitation to all residents, businesses, service providers and local non-profits within the City to attend this Citizen Participation Public Meeting to learn more about this grant opportunity and provide input into the process.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and/or submit written comments. Please submit all written comments to the following:
