The City of West University Place offers email billing options to residents who want a quicker receipt of monthly statements.
By utilizing the email billing systems, residents will receive their monthly utility statement approximately FOUR days before they would normally receive the statement in the mail. As soon as the billing file is transmitted to our billing vendor, an email statement is sent to those signed up for the service.
Another service that could possibly make your life easier involves electronic payment options. The city offers three difference possibilities.
Residents may chose to set up ACH payments on a monthly basis. This is an electronic draft of a bank checking or savings account on the monthly billing due date. A form and voided check are required to set up this service. The form is available on the website and form/voided check can then be scanned to the finance department.
If you like the points your credit card provides, you might be interested in Citizen Access, a component of our financial software that allows payments by credit card or Echecks. Citizen Access is available through our website.
Account maintenance is done by the user and finance department staff do not have access to the credit card information. Users may change out cards upon expiration or in the case of the card being compromised. Users also have the choice to make one-time payments, must like checking account Bill Pay programs, or to set up recurring payments, which will also be drafted on the due date each month.
Echeck payments may also be made on Citizen Access if that is the user's preference. The user will need their bank routing and account information in order to set up this process.
