Edloe Street Pathway Improvements

Planning is underway for potential updates to the area along Poor Farm Ditch from Albans to the property boundary at north of at Tiny’s #5.   As a result of Winter Storm Uri in February 2021, over 150 old-growth Oleanders died in this record freeze.  These Oleanders, and numerous scrub trees have since been removed leaving an opportunity to improve the aesthetics and enjoyment of this area.

Staff consulted with TerraLab Landscape Architects to explore opportunities for a pedestrian trail and enhanced landscaping in this area.  City Council is slated to review the concepts on January 10, 2022.  For project information and to view concepts, please visit If you would like to receive updates via email, please send your request to the Parks and Recreation Department at, and we will add you to the list.
