[ARCHIVED] Buffalo Speedway Project Water Shut Off Information

WU_logo_primary

Due to an unforeseen conflict with private utility lines underground, crews were unable to complete the scheduled work on the waterline located at the 3000 – 31000 blocks of Bissonnet. The water shut-off originally scheduled for today, October 11 has been rescheduled for tomorrow, October, 12.

Residents should anticipate the water being off for approximately 6 hours minimum between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Residents may notice a slight water discoloration after the restoration of service, however, this does not affect water quality. While it is unlikely that the water shut off will affect appliances, residents are reminded to check them ahead of time to ensure proper operation.

If you have any questions regarding water quality, please contact the Public Works Department at 713-662-5839.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
