21-0659Forgery At 3:30 pm an officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a forgery that already occurred.  An unknown suspect(s) stole, altered, and attempted to cash a personal check belonging to the victim.

At 1:34 pm an officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to Forgery that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) stole, altered, and attempted to cash a personal check belonging to the victim. 


9/17/202121-0661Evading 

At 4:59 pm an officer observed a vehicle that ran a stop sign at the intersection of Rutgers//Cason. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle for the violation. The suspect failed to stop for an emergency vehicle and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended when the suspect wrecked.  The suspect was subsequently taken into custody. An investigation of the scene led to the discovery of a handgun and drugs. The suspect, Charles Hamlin, was charged with evading, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.

9/17/202121-0662BMVAt 9:49 pm an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Bissonnet in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle and took items without consent.

09/20/202121-0663Warrant Arrest 

At 7:44 am an officer was dispatched to the Harris County Jail in regards to a suspect who had outstanding warrants with West University Place Police Department.  The suspect was taken into custody and book into jail without incident.  


09/20/202121-0664Drug Paraphernalia 

At 7:00 pm an officer observed a vehicle in the 5500 block of Buffalo Speedway displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for the violation. Upon contact with the driver, the officer smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted which led to the discovery of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.


09/20/202121-0665Drug Paraphernalia 

At 9:27 pm an officer observed a vehicle in the 6100 block of Buffalo Speedway with a defective headlight. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for the violation. Upon contact with the driver, the officer smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted which led to the discovery of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

09/21/202121-0666Unlawful Carry of Weapon 

At 3:11 pm, an officer observed a vehicle speeding in the 2900 block of University Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for the violation.  Upon contact with the driver, the officer smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from the interior of the vehicle. A probable cause search led to the discovery of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun.  The suspect, Damien Rodriguez, was charged with unlawful carry of weapon.

At 4:42 pm an officer was dispatched to the police station lobby in regards to a ID Theft that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) applied for unemployment and attempted to open a line of credit by using the victim’s personal information.

9/21/202121-0668Minor Accident- FSGI 

At 10:18 am an officer was dispatched to the 5800 block of Weslayan in regards to a minor accident that already occurred. An unknown suspect struck an unoccupied, parked, vehicle and fled the scene failing to stop and give information. 


9/22/202121-0669Burglary of Habitation At 11:08 am an officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Wakeforest in regards to a burglary of a habitation that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) made entry into a residence and took items without consent.
