21-0632BMVAt 3:11 PM an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Pittsburg in regards to a burglary of motor vehicle that already occurred.  An unknown suspect(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and took items without consent.

At 3:04 PM an officer was dispatched to the lobby in regards to an identity theft that already occurred. An unknown suspect used the victim’s personal information to open a bank account without consent.


9/2/202121-0634Fraud At 6:00 PM an officer was dispatched to the lobby in regards to a fraud case. An unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information and credit card information to purchase items without consent.
9/2/202121-0635Found Property At 11:44 PM an officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Nottingham in regards to found property. The property was located and secured for safe keeping.

At 3:12 PM an officer was dispatched to the lobby in regards to an Identity Theft case.  An unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to open a bank account without consent.


9/04/202121-0637FraudAt 7:56 PM am officer was dispatched to the 6600 block of Vanderbilt in regards to a fraud case. An unknown suspect(s) used the victims credit card information to purchase items without consent.
09/04/202121-0638Tampering with Evidence 

At 10:20 PM an officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 6200 block of Weslayan displaying expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for the violation.  Upon contact with the driver (Kenneth Jenkins) and through investigation, it was discovered the driver had multiple outstanding felony warrants. The driver was taken into custody for the warrants.  The driver was also charged with tampering with physical evidence 3rd degree felony after discovering the suspect/driver ingested drugs during the traffic stop.

At 3:10 PM an officer was dispatched to the Harris County Processing Center in regards to a suspect (Jose Barrientos) who had outstanding warrants out of West University Place Police Department.  The suspect was taken into custody for the warrants without incident.

09/05/202121-0640TheftAn officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Emory in regards to a theft that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) removed a catalytic converter from underneath a vehicle without consent from the owner.
09/06/202121-0643POM

At 11:45 PM an officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 6300 block of Vanderbilt that failed to display registration (license plate). A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for the violation. Upon officers contact with the driver (Ja Mahri Vontoine Brazile) a smell of marijuana emanated from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a large quantity of marijuana.  The driver was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

At 9:02 AM an officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of Robinhood in regards to a burglary of a residence that already occurred. Upon investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence and took items without consent.

09/08/202121-0645BMVAt 3:37 PM an officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Duke in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. An unknown suspect(s) made entry into a vehicle and took items without consent.
9/08/202121-0646Traffic Stop At 11:03 PM an officer stopped a vehicle in the 6700 block of Buffalo Speedway for fictitious registration. Upon contact with the driver, it was discovered the driver did not have a license or insurance. The driver was issued citations.
9/09/202121-0647Burglary of Building At 5:51 AM an officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Coleridge in regards to a burglary of a building that already occurred. Upon investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect entered a detached garage and took items without consent.
