08/11/202121-0601FraudAt 1:50 PM, a police officer was dispatched to 3800 University, in regards to a debit/credit card abuse report, which already occurred. The victim stated an unknown person(s) used his debit/credit card information to make on-line purchase from Wal-mart. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

21-0602Burglary of Motor Vehicle
At approximately, 3:35 PM an officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Community to speak with a complainant in regards to a theft that already occurred. The complainant stated that an unknown person(s) removed their leaf blower from their vehicle. Information was gathered and a report for burglary of a vehicle was generated.

21-0603TheftAt 11:05 AM, a police officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to a theft in the 2900 block of Bissonnet St. It was reported that someone stole the driver side mirror off of a vehicle parked there.

At 2:32 PM, an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 2900 block of Bissonnet in reference to a case of criminal mischief.  The victim said an unknown person(s) spray painted something in black on her walkway.
08/15/202121-0606TheftAt approximately 5:56 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 5300 block of Kirby regarding a theft. The victim stated than an unknown person stole her mobile phone from the store counter-top. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
08/16/202121-0607Missing PersonAt 1:29 PM, an officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to the 4200 Block of Bissonnet St in reference to a missing person. The missing person was later found in good health and of sound mind.

08/19/202121-0608Burglary of Motor VehicleAt 5:27 PM, an officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to the police station lobby in reference to a delayed burglary of a vehicle report that occurred in the 5900 block of Fordham. An unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and removed a cellphone and wallet without the effective consent of the owner. An offense report for BMV was generated. The victim (Yoani David Palacios) was found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Kansas and was subsequently taken into custody without incident.
