At 4:48 PM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department for a case of Identity Theft. The victim said an unknown person(s) used his personal identification information to apply for unemployment benefits.

At 12:17 PM, an officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to the 2600 block of Cason for a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, which had already occurred in the 4100 block of Case. The victim said that an unknown person(s) removed her purse (containing her personal items) and a diaper bag from inside of her unsecured vehicle.

21-0490ForgeryAt approximately 8:40 AM, a police officer was dispatched to 3800 University, in regards to a Forgery, which had already occurred. The victim stated an unknown person(s) stole three checks, modified them and deposited them into an ATM. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

06/14/202121-0494Found PropertyAt 8:15 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 6100 block of Auden, commonly known as Friends Park, for found property. A good Samaritan advised that an unoccupied baby stroller has been left on the sidewalk for two days with no one around it.

Identity Theft
At 11:16 AM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in regards to an Identity Theft case. The victim said an unknown person(s) used their personal identifying information to apply for a credit card and a hard credit inquiry for an employment check.

At 2:43 PM, an officer with West University Place observed a vehicle that looked disabled in the 2600 block of University Blvd. The officer ran the temporary tag which revealed a stolen vehicle hit out of Houston Police Department.
06/14/202121-0497Found PropertyAt 7:16 PM, an officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to the 2600 block of Cason in reference to a found property report. Various items were retrieved from the scene and investigation revealed some of the property to belong to a victim of a burglary that occurred in Houston. The property was returned to the owner and the rest of the items taken for safekeeping.

At 4:37 PM, an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 3200 block of University in reference to a theft.  The victim said an unknown person(s) stole some lawn equipment and a cell phone from his pickup truck.

An officer was dispatched to the 5800 block of Community in regards to an identity theft that had already occurred. The victim said they received a phone call which was later discovered to be a scammer.  The victim further stated after they the scam, they had already given out personal information.  A report was generated.

At approximately 12:26 PM, police officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Bellaire, in regards to a Burglary of Motor Vehicle, which had just occurred. The victim stated an unknown black male, opened her front passenger door and stole her purse, which was on top of the passenger seat. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department to take a report via telephone for a theft that had already occurred.  The victim said unknown suspect(s) removed two packages from their front porch without their consent. A theft report was generated.
