| 20-P-0679 | Evading/Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle | At approximately 8:00 PM an officer observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 4000 block of Bissonnet with a defective headlight. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop for the violations, but as the officer walked up to the vehicle, the driver drove off and a pursuit was initiated. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle then exited the vehicle and ran on foot. The subject (Dale Delgado) was eventually located in the 3900 block of Browning and placed in to custody for the Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Felony Evading. | 20-P-0680 | PCS/Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information | At approximately 4:30 AM, an officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound at the 6300 block of Wesleyan with no front license plate. A traffic stop was conducted for the violation at the 6700 block of Weslayan. Further investigation revealed both subjects were in fraudulent possession of identifying information and a controlled substance. Both subjects (Tyrell Hewett and Lakeyia Baynham) were subsequently placed in to custody for PCS PG 1 1g<4g, Fraudulent Possession of Identifying information and the driver (Hewett) was also charged with tampering with a government record. The Victim said someone used profanity towards them and was being disruptive towards them in public. A report was generated.

12/22/2020 | 20-P-0687 | Possession of Narcotics | At approximately 10:30 PM, an officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 5300 block of Buffalo Speedway with an obscured rear plate. A traffic stop was conducted in the 5200 block of Buffalo Speedway. After further investigation, the officer discovered the driver to be in possession of marijuana. The driver chose to participate in the Misdemeanor Marijuana Diversion Program and was issued a written warning for an Obscured Registration. The driver was released from the scene without incident.

12/23/2020 | 20-P-0688 | Fail to ID | At approximately 12:36 AM, an officer observed a vehicle with a defective license plate light traveling eastbound in the 4200 block of Bissonnet. A traffic stop was conducted for the violation. Further investigation revealed an occupant in the vehicle provided a false name and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The subject (Terrance Smith) was subsequently placed under arrest for Fail to ID-Fugitive and the outstanding warrant.
