11/05/202020-P-0568ForgeryAt 9:40 AM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department, in reference to a case of forgery. The victim said an unknown person(s) created and cashed fraudulent checks using his correct account and routing information.
11/05/202020-P-0569Identity Theft At approximately 11:57 AM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department lobby to speak with a complainant, in regards to their identity being stolen by an unknown person(s). A report for identity theft was generated.
11/06/202020-P-0570Found PropertyAt 10:30 AM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department for a found property case. The reportee said there was a credit card found on the side walk and no one was around.
11/06/202020-P-0571Identity TheftAt approximately 3:16 PM, an officer with the City of West University Place police department obtained an in station report for ID Theft.
11/06/202020-P-0572Identity Theft At 5:46 PM, an officer with the West University Police Department was dispatched to the PD lobby, 3800 University, in reference to an ID theft. The victim said an unknown subject used her personal identifying information to obtain a small business loan.
11/06/202020-P-0573Minor AccidentAt approximately 6:12 PM, an officer with the City of West University Place Police Department was dispatched to the 4000 block of Bellaire Blvd. in regard to an FSGI that had already occurred. The victim stated an unknown driver struck and damaged her vehicle and did not stop to leave their contact information.
11/07/202020-P-0574Burglary of Motor VehicleAt 2:59 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Barbara in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle case that had already occurred. The victim said someone stole some money out of the center console of the vehicle.
11/07/202020-P-0575Warrant Arrest

At 9:44 PM, an officer with the West University Police Department observed a vehicle with a defective headlight while northbound in the 6400 block of Buffalo Speedway. A traffic stop was conducted in the 3200 block of University and after further investigation both occupants (Liliana Figueroa & Cristian Cardona) of the vehicle were found to have outstanding warrants. Both were placed in custody and transported without incident.

11/08/202020-P-0576Found PropertyAn officer was dispatched to the 3500 block of University for a found property case. The reportee said there was a bicycle found on the property.
11/08/202020-P-0577Warrant Arrest

At 9:32 PM, an officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to the Harris County Joint Processing Center, 700 N San Jacinto, to take custody of a subject with outstanding warrants out of the West University Place Police Department. The subject (Liliana Figueroa) was transported to the West University Place jail for processing without incident.

11/09/202020-P-0578Burglary of Motor VehicleAt approximately 3:00 AM an officer with the City of West University Place Police Department was dispatched to 2600 block of Arbuckle in regards to a burglary of motor vehicle that had already occurred. Officer arrived to the scene and spoke to the witness/reportee who stated that he saw two unknown male subjects enter a parked vehicle and rummage through. An offense report for burglary of a motor vehicle was generated.
11/09/202020-P-0579Identity TheftAt 03:47 PM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a case of identity theft. The victim’s husband said an unknown person(s) used his wife’s personal identifying information to open a bank account.
11/10/202020-P-0581Identity TheftAt 02:06 PM, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a case of identity theft. The victim said an unknown person(s) used her personal identifying information to open a small business loan.
11/10/202020-P-0582Criminal MischiefAt 03:34 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 2900 block of Sunset in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that had already occurred. The victim said her vehicle was parked in front of her residence with damage to the front driver’s door locking mechanism. After further investigation, it was determined no entry was made turning this case into a criminal mischief report.
11/10/202020-P-0583Identity TheftAn officer was informed by West University Place Police Department dispatch about an identity theft. The victim stated that they were informed their identity was used by an unknown person(s).  No suspect information or arrest at this time.
11/11/202020-P-0584Credit Card AbuseAn officer took a report by telephone of identity theft.  The victim said an unknown suspect used his identity and credit card number to make several purchases over the course of about a month.
11/11/202020-P-0585Found PropertyAt approximately 3:06 PM, an officer with the City of West University Place police department was dispatched to the 3400 block of Bissonnet in reference to found property. The Officer arrived and collected the bikes submitting it for safekeeping.
