| Reckless Driving | At approximately 10:49 PM, officers observed a group of motorists recklessly driving westbound in the area of University Blvd and Weslayan St. Officers attempted to catch up but to no avail. All subjects eluded officers. A reckless driving report was generated. |

| 20-P-0512 | Driving While Intoxicated | At 11:28 PM, officers with the West University Place Police Department were dispatched to the 6600 block of Stella Link in reference to a one vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the driver was found to have left the scene but was subsequently located nearby. After further investigation, the driver (Alfredo Edgardo Lara-Ascencio) was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Previous History No Previous History |

| Theft | At approximately 4:40 PM, a police officer was dispatched to the 5500 block of Kirby, in regards to a citizen, who found two opened packages on the property. It was discovered that the two opened boxes belonged to citizens from a nearby business. The packages were stolen from a business located in the 5600 block of Kirby. Information was gathered and a report was generated. |

Dispatch advised the victim’s identifying information was used in attempt to unlawfully obtain unemployment benefits. |
10/15/2020 | 20-P-0517 | Burglary of Motor Vehicle | At approximately 7:57 AM, an officer with the West University Place Police Department was dispatched to 2900 Georgetown, in reference to a BMV. An unknown subject(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a backpack containing a laptop. |
10/15/2020 | 20-P-0518 | Burglary of Motor Vehicle | At 7:34 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Quenby in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. The victim said an unknown person(s) entered her unsecured vehicle between 6:04 AM and 7:15 AM and rummaged throughout the vehicle taking multiple credit cards and money.
