At 3:41 PM an officer was dispatched to the police station in regard to an identity theft that had been reported. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the reportee, over the phone. The reportee advised that an unknown person had utilized her identifying information in an attempt to file for un-employment. A report for identity theft was generated.
At 4:10 PM officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Robinhood, in regards to an Identity Theft, which had already occurred. The victim stated an unknown person(s) used his personal identifying information to open a Chase bank account. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
At 4 PM an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 2900 block of Wroxton in regard to a report criminal trespassing that had just occurred. Upon arrival the officer was unable to locate the suspected trespasser. While in the area, the officer observed the trespasser come back too, and park in front of the reportee’s residence. The reportee was able to provide evidence that the suspect did criminally trespass on her property. The suspect (David Winks) was arrested for criminal trespass.

At 6:45 PM officers were dispatched to the 6700 block of Annapolis in regards to an individual experiencing a mental health crisis. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

|06/29/2020||20-P-0329||Attempted Burglary of Motor Vehicle|
At 4:10 AM an officer, while patrolling the area of the 5500 block of Wakeforest and the 2800 block of Albans, observed an unknown male fleeing from the driver’s side of a parked vehicle. The male observed an Officer’s patrol vehicle and fled on foot approximately 50 feet toward a parked vehicle. The subject subsequently was detained along with two additional subjects who were waiting for him inside of the vehicle. Warrants were filed for all subjects for the criminal offense of an Attempted Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
|06/30/2020||20-P-0330||Theft||At 5:20 PM an officer was dispatched to a package theft in the 2700 Albans that had just occurred. While en route, dispatch advised of another package theft that had occurred in the 2700 block of Nottingham. Officers checked the surround streets and were unable to locate the suspect and vehicle. The victim said the suspect left a package and stole two other packages from her front porch at 5:02 pm.|
|06/30/2020||20-P-0331||Theft||At 7:54 PM an officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to a theft that occurred in the 2700 block of Albans. An unknown suspect removed several packages from the front of the residence without the owner’s effective consent. An offense report for Mail Theft was generated.|
|07/01/2020||20-P-0332||Possession of Drug Paraphernalia||At 1:24 AM officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Robinhood in regards to suspicious activity. Suspects were located in the backyard of the vacant residence and in possession of drug paraphilia and marijuana. Suspects were issued citations for the possession of drug paraphilia. Information was gathered and a report was generated.|
|07/02/2020||20-P-0333||Burglary of Building||At 5:24 AM officers were dispatched to the 5300 block of Kirby, in regards to an active burglary alarm. Police officers discovered the front glass door to the business had been broken. After further investigation it was discovered the business had been burglarized and several items were stolen. Information was gathered and a report was generated.|
|07/02/2020||20-P-0334||Minor Accident/FSGI||At 3:02 PM an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Cason to speak with a complainant in regards to a hit and run accident that already occurred. A report for failure to stop and give information was generated.|
At 11:39 PM an officer was dispatched to the 12000 block of Northwest Freeway in reference to a subject with warrants out of the West University Place Police Department. The Officer arrived and took custody of the subject (Jonathan Robinson) who was transported without incident.

At 12:06 AM an officer observed a male walking in the roadway of the 2600 block University when sidewalk provided. After further investigation, the Officer discovered the subject had burglarized vehicles. The officer later made contact with the subject and was led on foot pursuit. The subject was captured and admitted to burglarizing vehicles. The suspect (Seth Kaelan Lester) was placed in custody for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Evading on Foot.
