06/11/202020-P-0302Burglary of a Motor Vehicle

At approximately 2:58 pm, an officer was dispatched to the 3700 block of Tangley in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle that had already occurred. The complainant said that an unknown subject had entered his unsecured vehicle without consent.

06/12/202020-P-0303Found property

At approximately 7:16 pm, an officer was dispatched to the Police station Lobby in regards to found property report. The property was discovered by a resident in the 6300 block of Mercer and was entered into the West University Place Evidence room for safe keeping.

06/12/202020-P-0304Police Information Report

At approximately 6:45 pm, an officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of Coleridge St. in regards to a civil dispute. The officer met with both parties and they agreed they would exchange property tomorrow (6/13/2020). A police information report was generated.

06/12/202020-P-0305Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

At approximately 9:33 pm, an officer observed a vehicle being operated with a defective tail light along with a defective license plate light in the 6300 block of Buffalo Speedway. A traffic stop was conducted in the 3100 block of Bissonnet and a Probable Cause Search was conducted. Upon further investigation, the occupants were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and an open alcoholic container. The driver along with the passenger were cited and released from the scene without incident.

06/13/202020-P-0306Burglary of a Motor VehicleAt approximately 6:35 am, an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Barbara, in regards to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, which had already occurred. The victim stated an unknown person rummaged through one of his vehicles and attempted to open a second vehicle. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

At approximately 11:43 am, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in regards to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle that had already occurred.  It was reported that an unknown person had entered the victim’s unsecured vehicles without the victim’s consent.  A BMV report was generated.

06/13/202020-P-0308Burglary of a Motor Vehicle At approximately 3:07 pm, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in regards to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle that had already occurred.  It was reported that an unknown person had entered the victim’s unsecured vehicle without the victim’s consent.  A BMV report was generated.

06/15/202020-P-0309FraudAn officer was dispatched to the police station lobby, 3800 University Blvd., in regards to a fraud that already occurred.  Upon arrival, it was discovered on 6/4/2020 the victim mailed a check at the U.S. Postal Service for a utility bill. On 6/13/2020 the victim noticed through on-line banking the check for the utility bill had been altered and cashed at an unknown location by an unknown suspect(s).
06/15/202020-P-0310FraudAt approximately 2:45 pm, an officer was dispatched to the police department lobby, 3800 University, for a report of a fraud.  The reporting person said that unknown persons forged a deed document for a new construction the reporting person owns in the 2600 block of Barbara Lane.
06/15/202020-P-0311Burglary of a Motor Vehicle At 5:10 pm, an officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Law in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred.  Upon arrival and through investigation, it was discovered an unknown suspect(s) entered an unsecured vehicle and took items without consent.  The incident occurred approximately between 4:07pm and 4:45pm.
06/15/202020-P-0312Found PropertyAt approximately 10:14 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Rutgers in regards to found property. An officer arrived and took possession of the bike for safekeeping.
06/16/202020-P-0313TheftAt 1:00 pm, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in reference to a theft case.  The victim, via phone, said an unknown person(s) stole a package off of her front porch on 6/14/2020 sometime between 1:26 pm and 2:10 pm.
06/17/2020-P-0314Identity TheftAt approximately 2:32 pm, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in regards to a report of identity theft. The victim stated that his personal information was used by an unknown person to open multiple fraudulent accounts without his consent.  An identity theft report was generated.
06/18/2020-P-0315TheftAt approximately 08:19 am, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in regards to a theft that had already occurred. It was reported that an unknown person/s had entered a secured job site and removed items without the owner’s consent.  A theft report was generated.
