Colonial Park Pool COVID-19 Update


The City was notified on June 17th that a staff member at Colonial Park Pool tested positive for Covid-19. The point of contact for the employee came from a gathering outside of work on June 13th. The employee that tested positive worked at Colonial Park Pool on June 14th, 15th, and 16th. Other employees who may have had a prolonged exposure to the individual have been identified and quarantined. To protect the individual’s privacy regarding health information, the employee’s name and position is not being released. However, the risk of exposure to residents, staff, or other community members visiting the pool is low, as there was limited prolonged exposure and proper hygiene and social distancing was being followed.
