WUPD has collaborated with Chick-fil-a (3101 W. Holcombe Blvd.) to host a Child ID and Fingerprinting Event on August 16^th from 2:30pm-4:00pm. WUPD wants to ensure the safety of your children by providing residents with free Child ID cards. These Child ID cards feature a child’s photo and finger prints, as well as contact information and other pertinent details needed by police in case of an emergency. At this event, West U police officers will help fingerprint children, and these Child ID cards will be given to the children’s parents or guardians for safe keeping. The first 100 participants will receive a FREE ice-cream cone and police goodie bag to enjoy! The Child ID Kit will be provided to participants on a first come basis while supplies lasts.
