West U General Election - Early Voting

Please read this notification in its entirety as there are two separate elections being held that require voting at different polling locations.

Early voting for the May 6, 2017, West University Place General Election to elect a mayor and four councilmembers will begin on Monday, April 24th and end May 2nd. The location for early (and Election Day) voting for all West U precincts will be held in the Council Chambers located at 3800 University Boulevard. The times are follows:

  • Monday, April 24                    8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 25                    8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 26             8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 27                  8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday, April 28                        7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Monday, May 1                        7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m
  • Tuesday, May 2                        8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

NOTE: Harris County will also be conducting a separate joint election with several entities on May 6, which includes the Houston Independent School District. For residents to cast their votes for the HISD concern(s) on the County’s ballot, voters will need to go to the precinct polling places established by the County. Currently, county precinct polling locations for West U residents are:

  • Precinct 15 Residence Inn Marriott, 2939 Westpark (near Buffalo Spdwy)
  • Precinct 87 West U Scout House, 6108 Edloe
  • Precinct 133 West U Recreation Center, 4210 Bellaire
  • Precinct 183 West University Elementary School, 3726 University Blvd.
  • Precinct 906 West U Scout House, 6108 Edloe
