Citizen Access offers users the option of several browsers. When you log in, there is a compability link before the log in information. Google Chrome is NOT recommended. Some residents have used it and had success; others have hit-or-miss success. The compatibility is not a choice of the Finance Department but rather a developer choice, so we cannot change this. The Finance Department uses IE and Firefox.
MAC and Safari issue
We had gotten resident calls regarding certificate requests for Safari authentication on MAC computers or the dreaded 403 FORBIDDEN ERROR. This is due to a keychain/certificate issue that occurs in MAC computers. We have had success in correcting this issue by eliminating old certificates from the Apple keychain. It is a simple process that users can easily do. Following the elimination of the old certificate, the keychain will add the new certificate and you will be able to access Citizen Access again.
1-Make sure you have Safari closed.2-Go to Finder > Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access (on some models you can go to the hard drive and access Applications there)3-On the left side of window under Keychains click login.4-Click All Items under Category.5-In the search box, top right of window, type Innoprise.6-Delete any items that are displayed.7-Clear the search and type com.apple.idms8-Delete any items that are displayed.
You should now be able to go into the Citizen Access web site and see your login page.
