About the Lost Pets Service
The City of West University Place provides information on pets that are picked up by Animal Control, picked up by other residents, and reported lost by their owners. Residents are encouraged to report both lost and found pets for posting on the city's website. Please use the lost and found pet report form to report lost pets.
The animals listed below have been reported missing by a resident. Only resident animals will be listed.
Postings will remain on this site for up to 30 days. Please contact the individual listed to inquire about a pet. If you are searching for your pet, please review the Found Pet page. Please notify us when the animal is found.
Currently Lost Pets
Female, orange, gray and white cat with a dark spot on the left side of her face between nose and mouth. Last seen in the 4200 block of Rice Blvd on Dec. 6.
Other Lost Pet Resources
In the event that your pet is lost, the city’s Animal Control Division also recommends the following steps be taken:
- Contact the following animal protection and control agencies:
- Contact surrounding veterinary clinics and inform them that your animal is lost. Be prepared to give a detailed description of the animal.
- Contact local newspapers to place an ad, post an ad on Pet Finder, Pets 911, or Help Me Find My Pet.
- Print flyers for posting and distribution. Remember, you must get the approval of your neighbors to place signs in their yard or on their property. Flyers may not be placed on telephone or light poles.
